Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin, and was raised at DeForest, Wisconsin, but she now lives in Los Angeles. The school she attended earned her a diploma. DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. After that, in 1997, she received an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
